It’s been an incredible few weeks here at Crak Bam Mahj — full classes, joyful play, and more Lucky Duck winners than ever. Our Mahj in Bloom event was truly something special: a sold‑out room, beautiful spring energy, and players who brought their A‑game and their kindness. The momentum hasn’t slowed since, with packed sessions, new faces joining the community, and so many of you leveling up your skills and confidence.

🀄 Crak Bam League! — July League

Wednesdays: July 8, 15, 22, & 29
6:30–9:30 PM

Get ready for four weeks of fast tiles and big energy — Crak Bam League! is starting in July, and it’s your chance to play bold, play smart, and soak up a month of high‑spirited Mahj with a community that loves every Crak, Bam, and Joker as much as you do.

This league is ideal for players who can confidently play a 20‑minute hand and enjoy independent play. We’re aiming for 12+ players to keep the room buzzing and the friendly competition sparkling, so grab your seat and bring a Mahj‑loving friend.

Each week, you’ll earn points, climb the leaderboard, and cheer each other on. At the end of the month, the League Champion takes home a prize and bragging rights worthy of a victory lap.

Can’t make a week? No problem. You’ll receive the average of your previous week’s score, so you stay in the running for prizes and never lose momentum.

If you’re craving consistent play, friendly rivalry, and a joyful Mahj community, July League is your moment.

🀄 Crak Bam Begin Bro — Men’s Intro Class

Has a man in your life ever wondered what Mahjong is all about?
Now’s the perfect time to introduce him to the game you love so much — and it also makes a wonderful Father’s Day gift.

Crak Bam Begin Bro is a men‑only intro class designed for brand‑new players who want a clear, confidence‑building start to American Mahjong. He’ll learn the fundamentals, understand the NMJL card, and begin playing with ease. Every concept is broken down step‑by‑step so he can build real skills, feel comfortable at the table, and jump into the game with confidence from day one.

Class Dates:
Thursdays: July 30, August 6, 20, & 27
6:30 - 8:30 PM

Once we have a solid foundation of men learning and playing, we hope to launch Mahjong Couples Nights at the Studio — a fun, social way to bring partners together at the table.

🌸 Mahj in Bloom — Event Recap

Our Mahj in Bloom Springtime Tea & Open Play was nothing short of magical. The room was full, the tables were lively, and the energy was everything we hoped for: joyful, welcoming, and beautifully connected. Players arrived ready to laugh and play and the afternoon delivered all of that and more.

From the gorgeous spring tablescapes to the English‑inspired tea service, every detail added to the charm of the day. We had a wonderful mix of beginners and seasoned players, and the camaraderie at every table was truly special. And yes… there were LOTS of Lucky Ducks floating around the room.

Thanks to your generosity, we also raised close to $900 for Comfort Cases, helping bring essential items and dignity to children entering foster care. Your play truly made a difference.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a standout moment for Crak Bam Mahj. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and love for the game continue to make this community bloom.

🀄 Social Play is Here!

Looking for a fun place to come with your friends—or hoping to meet new friends who share your love of Mahj?

With our brand‑new permanent space officially open, we’re excited to share that Social Play has been added to the Crak Bam Mahj lineup, starting next week! Our cozy, bright, welcoming room was made for gathering, laughing, learning, and playing, and now you can enjoy regular Social Play sessions each week.

To make things easy and flexible, we’re offering two different play options:

11:00 AM – 4:00 PM A full, relaxed day of Mahj including lunch — perfect for settling in, enjoying great company, and playing at your own pace.
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM An afternoon session with snacks, drinks, and all the Mahj magic you can handle.

Whether you arrive with friends or come solo, you’ll be welcomed into a community where conversation flows easily, laughter is part of the rhythm, and the game becomes a shared ritual.
